2. 專一性提高，可以有效降低 primer-dimer
 
Detection of b-actin expression with SYBR® Green assay using LightCycler® 1.1(Roche)
b-actine mRNA was detected with serially diluted cDNA from HeLa cell total RNA
 
由於 SYBR Green 染劑無法區分專一性 PCR 片段及 primer-dimer，當樣品濃度低時若試劑容易產生 primer-dimer，則會造成偽陽性訊號。以上圖為例只有THUNDERBIRD qPCR mix 不會產生 NTC 訊號。反之，他牌產品因 primer-dimer 而造成偽陽性的實驗結果。
 
3. 良好的 PCR 效率、定量結果再現性佳

以序列稀釋之病毒液測試顯示，THUNDERBIRD qPCR mix 效率較佳可達 95%，優於同時比較之他牌產品。
 
4. 線性關係良好、定量有效範圍廣

(Applied Biosystems 7900HT)
以 plasmid 稀釋液定量結果顯示，試劑有效定量範圍為 2~2 x 109 copies/rxn，且線性關係良好。
